Memorial dedicated on 6 October 1996
by Long Island Base of USSVI

The Lindenhurst Memorial is located on the grounds of Babylon Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst, LI, NY. The site was chosen when a section of the grounds was dedicated to a MIA/POW monument and we asked if we could erect a monument to honor our lost shipmates.

Also at that site is a "52 lost boats" bronze monument which was dedicated at the same time by the Flasher Chapter of US SubVets WWII
