USS HARDER SS-257 Memorial
Just south of Salt Lake City
      The plaques in front of the Mk14 are:
      1) depicting the Harder sinking a ship
      2) Names of the 79 men lost aboard (24 August 1944)
      3) Names of the 52 lost boats
      Phase two of this memorial will consist of a roof and glass panels
      depicting some of the HARDER exploits
